Blooming Hens

July 15th, 2008

I planted some Sempervivum (Hen & Chicks) in the rock wall on our front hillside. A few of them are starting to bloom. They truly are interesting plants!

    We’ve had Hens and Chicks for years and never have they bloomed before this summer. Amazing plants. They have survived harsh winters outside, multiplied many times over and are still thriving.
