Chiot’s Run on Ice
We’re snowed in here at Chiot’s Run, actually iced in. We had quite a winter snow/ice storm yesterday. It’s all quite beautiful and I’m glad I don’t have to go out and about (we work from home). Mr Chiot’s snapped a few photos while outside clearing off the driveway. For those of you who live in the north, I’m sure it’s the same thing you’re seeing. For those of you in the south, enjoy.
Are you seeing the same thing? or are you enjoying an icy beverage in the sun?

It looks a lot like what I’m seeing outside my kitchen window just now… the porch is covered in ice and snow (though I wish I could be out there with a delicious beverage in the sun!)….While we didn’t seem to get much ice/slush, it was a fine, persistent snow. Sigh. Hopefully these storms will be few from now on and spring will come soon.

We only got an inch of snow yesterday and most of it melted off.

Gorgeous photos! I was going to take some photos outside today for the blog but it might just be mean to take pics of a 78 degree day at the beach, wouldn’t it?

Same here is south western Ohio. Lots of snow and ice; third day off school actually. I have been wanting to snap some pics of my back yard in this snow and may just do it after looking at your pretty pics. Knowing you, I’ll bet you’ll have that snow off your feeders soon :)

It’s all white outside. We got snow from the same storm that you got yesterday. It did turn to rain after 5″ of snow. Ice covered landscape is so beautiful yet so dangerous and distructive.
I love Lucy, she is so cute!

We got about 10 inches of new snow here. We didn’t get the ice that you got over your way.

Absolutely beautiful.
As I type the sun is shining, it is about 15 degrees, grass is green, flowers are begining to bloom, so really couldn’t be more different from where you are to jolly ol’ England!
