The blend of dried herbs includes thyme, rosemary, oregano, and basil. I use fresh herbs when in season, but I also used home dried and a store bought (Costco) dried italian blend. Whichever way you go - it will be good!

Mr Chiot's used to be kind of veg averted. I used to put chopped spinach and broccoli stems and grated zucchini in everything (like spaghetti sauce, lasagna, soups etc).

I'm not sure why my honeybees don't find my squash blossoms, perhaps they haven't found them yet. I do see them by my cucumber blossoms.

Grilled with onions...in zuchini/applesauce bread...pickled (hot and spicy) and in cookies! I love summer squash, I've got 6 plants this year, it is the winter squash I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to keep up with! Kim

Thanks for listing the ways you like to use the squash. I never know what I'd use squash for (except acorn squash with butter and brown sugar) and my husband doesn't eat his veggies. Maybe I can start sneaking some into dinner :-) The colors on it are quite pretty.

What is in the Italian seasoning herb mix? Since I grow so many of my own herbs, I would rather use fresh if possible. But the recipe sounds tasty and easy.
