Chiot’s Run Calendar Contest!

November 13th, 2009

I finished up my calendar yesterday. Since a few of you mentioned you’d be interested in purchasing one, I made them public on Lulu. I have a large one (13.5 x 19) and a small one (11×17). I ordered a bunch for Christmas gifts and I even ordered an extra to giveaway to one of you! All you have to do is comment on this post and I’ll hold a drawing when the calendars arrive in the mail. Good Luck! Here’s what the final product looks like.

Your photographs have always been an inspiration to me; your artistic talent as a photographer shines in every photo you have posted on your site. I visit your site everyday, as my part of my morning routine, to take a look at the new images for that day. They have become a big part of my life; I think of them as my day progresses, and they inspire me as an amateur photographer. I am learning, by observing your photos, about balance, texture, and rhythm of a photograph. I can not say that I have one particular image that I like best; I like them all. Thank you for sharing your photos and experiences; they impact other lives in a positive way!

what a task you had sifting your photos out to fit just 12 months. I’ve tried to choose a favourite but I just can’t name one – I could wax lyrical about what I love about each and every one though as they fit so perfectly with the month’s they reflect. So if pushed… I’d have to say ‘November’ as it reflects the here and now so beautifully for me (apples and black cats within arms reach as I type).
