Chiot’s Run Calendar Contest!
I finished up my calendar yesterday. Since a few of you mentioned you’d be interested in purchasing one, I made them public on Lulu. I have a large one (13.5 x 19) and a small one (11×17). I ordered a bunch for Christmas gifts and I even ordered an extra to giveaway to one of you! All you have to do is comment on this post and I’ll hold a drawing when the calendars arrive in the mail. Good Luck! Here’s what the final product looks like.
I think December might be my favorite photo, which is yours?
Mr Chiots made a random number generator to pick the winner of the calendar, who did it choose? See the winner here.

Your photographs have always been an inspiration to me; your artistic talent as a photographer shines in every photo you have posted on your site. I visit your site everyday, as my part of my morning routine, to take a look at the new images for that day. They have become a big part of my life; I think of them as my day progresses, and they inspire me as an amateur photographer. I am learning, by observing your photos, about balance, texture, and rhythm of a photograph. I can not say that I have one particular image that I like best; I like them all. Thank you for sharing your photos and experiences; they impact other lives in a positive way!

what a task you had sifting your photos out to fit just 12 months. I’ve tried to choose a favourite but I just can’t name one – I could wax lyrical about what I love about each and every one though as they fit so perfectly with the month’s they reflect. So if pushed… I’d have to say ‘November’ as it reflects the here and now so beautifully for me (apples and black cats within arms reach as I type).

Love your calendar and your blog. The hardest choice for me here was deciding upon the small or large size! :-) Thanks!

So many favorites to choose from: but November is my absolute favorite. I’m so glad you’re taking your calendar public – now to decide how MANY to buy…
Have a wonderful weekend.

I already mentioned that I particularly enjoyed the spill-over of tomatoes. Although it saddens me a little, since I had did not have any over-abundance myself this year. Next year, though! There’s always next year!

Susy, You did a wonderful job with the calendar. It’s great from beginning to end. I agree, December is a great shot. But that bubbling maple syrup makes my mouth water.

That’s a tough one actually. I really like the one with all the tomatoes, but the boiling sap one is nice too. Along with April’s and November’s!

It’s between Feb and Dec for me – oh how I covet your snow and your bounty. I’ve had nothing but drought and record heat in my garden – at least my Fall is kind and I’m finally harvesting happy Bells and fiesty Jalapenos.

January is definitely my favorite – anyone in NE Ohio knows how gloomy January can be but your pictures made me think of hope…since January is garden plannin’ time – and rest…what else can you do when it’s 20 degrees and there’s 3 ft of snow on the ground!?
