Those have to be some of the cutest kids I've ever seen. Are they in commercials... :-)

Those are lovely Christmas Cards. Everyone, just please be sure you don't just toss your Christmas cards when you're done with them. Please recycle.

Those are absolutely darling babies.
I buy cards on sale after Christmas to send the next year.
I love getting cards but hate sending them.

well Susy you bought some joy and festive cheer in to my living room reading this post. We made our own cards 6 years ago for our first christmas with our 3 cats and spent hours playing with them to get the right shot - we turned the christmas tree lights on and suddenly they were transfixed! Then we decided to go green and not send any cards and my husband made a little animation to email out. A few friends who aren't online have dropped off the radar having taken 'no card' as a bit of a slight but on the whole it's quite freeing not having to think about it. I did make a few cards last year to send to friends we don't live close enough to see and it was a very therepeutic end to a difficult year and I felt I wanted to let people know they were still important to us despite what our lack of contact might have been construed as. Thankfully nearly everyone we know is on-line now (even our dad's are on Facebook) so an E-card this year will no doubt soon be made.

Using the camel is a GREAT idea! I had thought about doing a nativity re-creation, but making it look like of cartoony. I was thinking of having Lucy be a sheep. But in the end I didn't have time to come up with costumes. I can't wait to see what your card looks like if you can work the camel in, hope you blog it!

Very fun! Clever idea that obviously was fun to implement. We are boring and just send out commercial cards with a newsy note about what has been happening in our household. I actually skipped it altogether last year because I had just started a new job and was up to my eyeballs in work and just felt too weary to deal with "making" festive. This year, i am more settled in (still up to my eyeballs in work though!) and expect we will get back to our normal routines. It's likely our last Christmas with our daughter at home so I feel compelled to put more effort forth. She will be away to college this time next year. (sigh).
