Chiot’s Run Moo MiniCards

December 6th, 2009

I’ve been wanting to get business cards for quite a while. When I’m out and about at farmer’s markets and chatting with people and tell people about my blog they always ask for the web address. It’s hard for me to explain “Chiot’s Run” and it’s easy to forget (note to self, next blog address needs to be easy to remember). I finally decided to order some Moo MiniCards.

You can feature up to 100 different images on your cards. I picked out 30-40 photos for mine. I simply had “ChiotsRun.com” printed on the back. Now when I’m out at the markets and people ask for my web address I can hand them one of my Mini Moos.

They’re the most wonderful little cards, perfect to carry around to hand out. They feature some of my photos, which is a big part of my blog. I think they’ll definitely get people interesting in visiting this blog!

I can’t wait to hand my first one out!!! If you’re in the market for some interesting and different cards, definitely check out the Moo MiniCards. (PS. they didn’t pay me to say this, or give me anything for free).

If someone handed you one of these would you be interested in visiting the site it advertised?

Awesome! I made some Moo mini cards a while back and I still have a few left – they’re great. I like all the photos you chose for you cards…you have a great eye!

In response to your question: I would definitely be interested in visiting the site on the card!

Oh boy… I think I need me some of those! I get asked all the time and it would be so much easier to just hand someone a mini card than to try and write it down (when you invariably do not have a pen or some paper!).

I need to go check those out!

Yup! I’ve actually visited a few websites after getting a card like this. I find it’s easier for me than finding a scrap of paper to write something on (and then inevitably losing it). Nice cards!

I really should get some cards. I have business cards, but don’t have personal cards and have more than one personal site. It would make life so much easier. The photo aspect is really appealing.

Those are really sharp! I would totally check out the site after getting one (except I already check the site every day).

Those would make good bookmarks too.

These cards are incredible! I especially like the simple and clean design you’ve gone with for your own, as your photography is such a bold and substantial part of the site. Good luck in spreading the word :)

Those are great! And, Yes, if handed one of your cards I’d run home to visit your site. It’s kind of like the old Victorian custom of handing out calling cards (which I think is coming back into fashion). I like it.

These are wonderful! I love the whole idea and all the photos are beautiful. Regarding whether we would visit the site if handed a card (and yes, I would!), I have a suggestion. I realize you’re personally handing them out to people and telling them about your blog, but what about adding your ‘chronicle of an organic garden’ tagline below the url? That way anyone who comes across a card knows a little more about what you’re all about – and doesn’t dismiss it as an online store or other type of site that’s selling something. Just a thought. :)
