Catching the Moment
I almost always have my camera by my side, even when I’m working inside. You just never know at what moment you’ll want to capture. Luckily last week, I had my camera so I was able to catch Little Softie looking at Dexter through the back door. They pawed at each other a bit and Dexter was chirping away at Little Softie. I imagined her saying, “Dad?”
My photos are almost like a photo diary of my life, hardly a day goes by where I don’t take at least 15-20 photos. My life is well documented through the lens of my little camera. I must thank all of you who read as this blog is the reason I started taking lots of photos, I appreciate all of you who stop by every day to check out what I’m snapping photos of and talking about!
Do you keep a diary or journal? Are you in the habit of carrying a camera around to capture the moments?

i used to carry my camera around but don’t much anymore. I keep it easily available, though, for extra special moments. I blog, mostly for myself and for distant family members. It’s nice knowing that I have something to remember my life with, should I want to remember the details (or anyone else).

Oh yes, I journal every morning for about 30 min. It is a great way to start each day and do a brain dump. I also try to document daily life with photo’s but can’t say I take as many as you.

Both…..I keep a journal with me at all times more so than a camera……There have been many an oh shoot moment when there has been a great photo opportunity and no camera……Not the case with the paper and pen:)

What you say – exactly the same here. My blog started out as a way for my invalid father to see my garden. Gardening was one of his joys then the computer helped to replace that void.
