October 31st, 2010

“Nature always wears the colors of the spirit.”
~Ralph Waldo Emerson

Right now those colors are particularly fabulous!

What’s your favorite color in nature?

The one in the top photo is Walden Pond (yep Thoreau’s) and the one in the bottom photo is Jordan Pond in Acadia (which there were people kayaking in when we were hiking around it). Sorry :(

Anytime you want to come visit us we live on a lake that you can kayak in, sadly our kayaks aren’t in the lake as much as we’d like them to be.

Now I can say I have been to Walden Pond, very cool! Enjoyed the fall colors.

I’m with you on the politic ads. I voted early nearly two weeks ago, get it over with.
