Happy 4th of July
Hopefully your flag is flying high in the garden if you live here in the US and you have a wonderful weekend of cookouts, friends and fireworks.
This weekend we’re planning on enjoying the fireworks here in our little lake community with our friends. For the first time in the 10 years we’ve lived here we’ll be watching the fireworks from a boat out on the lake. We’ve heard it’s the best way to see them and we’re excited.
What are you plans to celebrate this holiday weekend?

The 4th of July is a big deal in Maine. Bar Harbor starts with a blueberry pancake breakfast followed by a huge parade. There is a seafood festival on the ball field with lots of nonprofits selling raffle tickets etc. There are lots of home gatherings with cook outs until evening. There are concerts until dark when fireworks are shot off the pier over the water. Just a fantastic day.

Have a wonderful time today. We will enjoy American fare and we always watch “Yankee Doodle Dandy” on this day.

Happy 4th of July! We just celebrated Canada Day on the first which was great fun. Your garden is looking fantastic :) I bet you are quite excited about your upcoming move – I’ve been thinking about that recently and have been reflecting on our own life changing move 13 years ago….

Happy Independence Day!!
We have an annual celebration here on our circle. We have a large, community area in the middle of our circle and we all use that for our gathering area. Nearly every house on our circle has children, so we have kids running everywhere throwing “pop-its” everywhere while the adults chit-chat and eat. :-) All of the other neighbors are envious of our tiny little “community” in the middle of our subdivision because we have such a good time all the time and have a celebration every chance we get — and we ALL get along. If we didn’t have a HOA and had about 5 extra acres, it would be perfect! ha ha.
Have a great day out on the boat!!
