I’m Beat
Yesterday, Mr Chiots and I went to the Common Ground Country Fair. We were up early to beat the traffic. Our neighbors showed up a little later and we walked around with them for half of the day. When it was about time for the kids to take naps, they headed home and we continued to walk around.
Of course, I’m now completely bushed, tired, beat. Too tired to write much of a blog post, too tired to do much of anything. Mr Chiots is headed back tomorrow, he’s volunteering in one of the parking lots. We’ve also got a few big things going on this weekend, stay tuned to see what we’re up to.
Anything exciting going on in your world?

What a wonderful looking fair! Hope to experience it someday. We are on a road trip. Yesterday we played in the Great Salt Lake, today my daughter has an Irish dance competition, and tomorrow we are headed to the Grand canyon. Eventually will make it down to Tucson and Tombstone before heading home.

Yesterday CGCF, today SAR dog training. I think yesterday’s crowd at the fair was the biggest I’ve seen on a Friday. Not as many school classes but in addition to the usual compliment of seniors there were lots of families.

I was at the fair yesterday too. Definitely the biggest crowd I’d seen on a Friday. I wish that they would add a fourth day – it would really help make it more manageable! I thought I might see you there, but didn’t…
The exciting thing in my world today is that I’m going to try out another horse, and she sounds like she might be exactly what I’m looking for! Of course, I’ve thought that about several other of the horses I’ve seen in the past few months, but none of them have been quite right. Soon though perhaps Mr. Chiots can come down and go for a ride with me and cross another thing off of his wish list!

I love the country fair, it has roots that grow deep into my childhood. The photos are such fun.

Looks like a wonderful fair. Exciting things um….the sun is out after quite a few dull grey days :)
