The Milk Monster
The Littles is fitting right in, she’s a feisty little cat. She spends her days outside hunting moles and mice. She climbs trees and scampers about as I work. She had developed quite a love affair with raw milk. Whenever we get the milk out of the fridge she comes from anywhere and begs for a splash.
We’ve taken to call her the milk monster. She can hear a half gallon mason jar from miles away. It’s really funny and quite endearing.
She is so beautifully patterned and colored :)
Is she tiny?
I am always delighted by the many personalities that our pet family members have…can’t imagine life without them!

She is tiny, she probably weighs two pounds, maybe three. Her head is tiny and she has LONG skinny legs.

Is she still a kitten? Do the other cats like/tolerate her?
to Jaye Whitney's comment
She’s over a year old, still acts slightly kittenish, but she’s full grown. The other cats are fine with her, she’s pretty feisty and can fend for herself. They’re just getting comfortable playing with her now.

Susy, tis the season for mice to try to migrate into the house. I don’t have that problem but many of my friends that live in the wooded parts of town near creeks and country fields are having an unprecedented onslaught of mice in the house. It must be an invasion as the stores are cleaned out of traps. Most of my friends will use a trap one time and throw out the trap with the mouse when it catches one. I’m too cheap for that. I’ve only caught one mouse in 29 years of living in my house. I saw the little bugger run through the open door of the garage one fall day. He/she only had one luxury day of living in the garage before the mighty mouse hunter (me) trapped and disposed of him/her. Barn cats are a definite must when living in the country.
Have a great Milk Monster day.

Hah, my cat Leo can tell which plate is ‘his’ for his evening wet food and when I get the can opener out. I also use the treat bag to pry him out of whatever hiding place he’s in when I can’t find him. Cats are clever.

We love our little girl cat that stays outdoors. She is always catching mousies. My littlest has a big boy cat that she keeps inside but he is utterly useless. :) We love him anyway though.

I always read/heard that you shouldn’t give milk to cats as it gives them diarrhea.
You may want to look into that, as it isn’t the best treat to give to our furry babies.

She gets raw milk from a local farm which doesn’t give them diarrhea. I wouldn’t give them pasteurized milk from the store.
