Quote of the Day: Sen Soshitsu

June 21st, 2015

“If you fiddle this way and that with the flowers and consequently they wither, that will be no benefit. It is the same with a person’s life.”

Susy, most of the time we think of codependency as a bad thing and most times it is but I’m convinced there are good codependency things. Marriage is one of them. Friends, neighbor, and family relationships can be good dependencies. I’m talking about healthy dependencies and the needy kinds of dependencies. To a certain degree it’s in our nature as humans to have healthy dependent relationships with those around us. I tried isolation and a person can survive in isolation but the richness of life is totally lost. I thank God for friends and family that dragged me out of the robotic emotionless life I once tried to live. Without emotion, yes, there’s no hurt or sadness but there’s also no joy or happiness. I am a much happier contented person by having some healthy codependency in my life.

Have a great health dependent day.
