If you follow me on Instagram, you know that we spent last week in Sweden. We spent the week eating delicious food, visiting lovely gardens, soaking up Swedish history, and enjoying a bit of time away from our jobs. It will take me forever to get through all these photos, but I guarantee you’ll love seeing all the lovely gardens I was able to see while there. Here are a few highlights of the lovely things we saw last week.
Check back this week and next to see posts dedicated to all the wonderful things we saw during our week in Sweden.
Do you have any trips planned in the near future?

Susy, no trips planned this year. Next June, my grand daughter will be graduating from high school in Las Vegas. I will go to Vegas for a few days. There are no plans to leave the country on a trip but one never knows. Some times opportunities happen quickly. Looks like you had another wonderful time. Who’s caring for the homestead in your absence? Finding some one reliable to watch over a homestead is always a challenge. I am assuming that harvest time is over for Maine.
Have a great memory day from the Sweden trip.

What lovely pictures! Sweden must be amazing. Do many people know English or do you know Swedish? We just came back from our annual Canadian trip. Made it to Kimberley. Was so enthralled with the Platz we didn’t have time for the garden.
Just a couple small trips planned for the rest of the year. San Juan Islands at the family cabin for some Fall kayaking, the Other Portland for an Irish dance comp for my daughter, then the holidays in Idaho with family. Wish we could go out of country, but flying makes me so anxious. Something i’ll have to work on.

Pretty much everyone in Sweden speaks English, though we did study Swedish for 8 months before our trip.

I thought the same thing, so I took lots of photos of it hoping to build one like it. They were repainting the interior with linseed paint.
