Support Chiot’s Run

Thanks for stopping by Chiot’s Run. We believe in keeping our blogs ad-free, not wanting to sell YOU (my readers) out. That being said, it takes a lot of time and money to keep the blog and podcast up and running. We believe in ‘Value for Value’, if you get some value from something we produce, how about giving some value in return. The best way to do that is through a one-time donation to the blog and podcast or by signing up for a for a monthly recurring subscription. Use the buttons below to let us know you appreciate our efforts.

Most importantly, share links to my posts on: Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, StumbleUpon, and other social media sites. Tell your friends/family about Chiot’s Run and Eat Outside the Bag. Put my blogs on your blog rolls and link to my blogs whenever you can.

Shop through my Amazon Links in the sidebar, you don’t have to purchase the items listed. Whenever you are going to buy something from Amazon.com, simply click through one of my links and I get a few pennies from each sale. Or bookmark this link, and use it to visit Amazon.

Shop at Mountain Rose Herbs and always click through this link when you do. I purchase the majority of my herbs/spices/teas from them and have always been impressed with their products.

Buy quality garden tools from Clarington Forge

Shop at my favorite source for live herb plants, seeds, and all things herbal for the garden: Richter’s Herbs.

Shop at Tropical Traditions and click through the following links when you do. I love their products and purchase all of my coconut oil from them. I use their Expeller Pressed Coconut Oil for foods I don’t want a coconut flavor on (potatoes, onions, mushrooms, etc) and I use their Gold Label Coconut Oil on foods I want a coconut flavor in (cookies, cakes, muffins). I also use the Gold Label as a skin moisturizer.

Occasionally I’ll have a calendar, or a few other products for sale, and purchasing those is also a great way to help me out. Maybe a cookbook in the future. Are there any products you’d like to see?

About

This is a daily journal of my efforts to cultivate a more simple life, through local eating, gardening and so many other things. We used to live in a small suburban neighborhood Ohio but moved to 153 acres in Liberty, Maine in 2012.
