You Know You’re a Gardener
You know you’re a gardener when you realize you just spent twice as much for a load of manure than you spent on groceries for yourself for the month!!!

I like before & after photos. It’s always good to see how much you have accomplished.
A month and a half later:
Roses
I have 2 white rose bushes that I adopted 5 years ago. They are supposed to be climbing roses, so they were planted on both sides of our front porch to climb up the posts. Well, they’re not hardy enough for zone 5 to be climbing. They’re so finicky, always with some black spot or aphids. Since I don’t like to use pesticides in the garden and I don’t want to baby plants, they will be gone next year – anyone interested in some white semi-climbing roses? They are beautiful and they bloom all summer long.
