Taking a Day Off

February 22nd, 2009

I’m too tired to write anything meaningful or interesting today so I’m giving you this photo of yours truly as a toddler. My dad snapped this series of photos one morning right when I got up. I wish pink footed pj’s still came in adult sizes, I remember loving these!

I just love old photos like this, don’t you?

They do come in adult sizes! Take a look here: http://www.jumpinjammerz.com/

Funny thing is, I *hated* my footed pjs as a child – the white feet bottoms seemed so stiff and scratchy, I dreaded getting into them. Of course, wearing 2 layers of socks to bed was (and still is) fine :-) My mother sent me the link to that site for fun when she saw it, with a (I hope!) joking note about getting me a pair! :-)

Wow Mangochild, those are footed pajamas. I don’t know if I could wear them now, I’d probably get too hot. I may remember these for present for my nieces & nephew.

Oh yes, they do still make those jammies for cozy-lovin’ adults – my dad bought my mom, me and my sister adult pairs for Christmas one year. Boy, was *that* a funny holiday picture! :-)

I got my teenage daughter footie PJs for Christmas this year since she always complains about how cold it is in the house. I actually found them at Target! She LOVES them.

There is a photo of me when I was baby, in a diaper, running around with the hose well gardening. It is pretty funny, I wonder where it is.
