Quote of the Day: Bonnie Friedman

October 17th, 2010

“An unhurried sense of time is in itself a form of wealth.”
~ Bonnie Friedman

This is one of the reasons we enjoy camping so much, it really lends itself to being unhurried. No distractions, just you and nature.

What helps you sit back and relax?

My husband and I discovered on our honeymoon this summer that we love camping together! It is a wonderful way to tune out the world and connect with each other, as well as with the natural world. We camped in Maine also, at Rangely Lake, up by Belfast and on Hermit Island. Just fabulous!

    Hello.
I just moved to a part of the country where conventional evidence of seasons is, well, limited.

I grew up in the Finger Lakes Region of NY State.

Whenever my feed indicates you’ve updated I click over here and 4 out of 5 times I tear up and then I feel very, very grateful. Your pictures and blog are sustaining me these months. Your delivery is understated and sincere.

We will be here for two more years; thank you.
