Friday Favorite: You

March 25th, 2011

I can’t list any more Friday Favorites without mentioning YOU, yep you, all my readers and commenters. I appreciate that you take the time to come here each day, read my post and leave a comment. I read through all the comments and they always brighten my day. Anyone who writes a blog knows how exciting it is to get comments and I certainly appreciate all the thoughtful and informative tips you share.

I also love that some of you send me gifts. Recently I received a box of beautiful lemons from someone’s back yard tree, a bag of Living Nutz (which were delicious), a glittery scarf from a reader in Yugoslavia, seeds from the Netherlands, and an offer for guest passes to Longwood Gardens this summer and dinner when I’m passing by when we head out west this summer.

There are evenings when I don’t feel like writing a post, but then I remember that there are thousands of you out there waiting (not to mention if I don’t post I get frantic e-mails asking if everything is all right). You certainly make it worthwhile to sit down and spend some time writing about something each and every evening.

So THANK YOU, from all of us here at Chiot’s Run.

I finally remembered to pick a winner for the collection of Cooking Light Cookbooks that I no longer needed. Our winner is Brittany P, congrats. If you dont’ get my e-mail send me your address via the contact button in the sidebar so I can get them mailed off to you.

I don’t comment often but I definitely look forward to your daily entires! I have learned so much from your blog. I have ordered Meyer lemons twice from the Lemon Ladies Orchard and coconut oil from
Tropical Traditions. Love both and am now trying my hand at seed starting. Love your recipes and have tried a couple…yummy! Thanks for your hard work!

I love your blog. The first thing I do in the morning is to read your blog with a cup of hot tea. That’s how I start my day. : )

I thank you very much for posting each day. Being fairly new to establishing gardens, and doing it organically, your blog is one of the best resources. And seeing how much hard work you put into your gardens inspires me to work harder in mine. (And I absolutely LOVE your pictures)

If I had my druthers, I’d be where I could do many of the things you blog about.. however, I must bloom where I’ve been planted so reading your blog about the things you do are the next best thing..
I’ve really enjoyed finding it and spending my time here.. and look forward to more of it! :D

Thank you for putting in the time and effort that you do. A lot of people like me probably read everyday but very rarely leave comments due to shyness and that what you want to say has already been said by 20 other people. But if cosmic thoughts go out in the universe hopely you feel the appreciation of those of us who don’t say it often and if they don’t then I am saying it now big thanks you make my morning : )
