Friday Unfavorite: Feet

October 19th, 2012

I must admit, I have an aversion to feet. Not my own feet, I don’t mind them. Other people’s feet however kinda make me cringe. Not all the time, just if they get too close to me. If Mr Chiots’s feet accidentally tough me it sends a shiver up my spine.

It’s not that feet gross me out or anything, I simply do not like them. It’s even more strange since I’m a barefoot kind of person.

Do you have any aversions like this?

Yes, FEET!!! I’m totally with you on this. But I’m not a barefoot person for some reason.

Caterpillar feet! My girls love caterpillars and have been collecting wooly worms. I’m not afraid of them at all but when they walk across my skin — ICK! Their sticky little feet just wig me out!

I don’t really care so much about other people’s feet but I can’t stand it when people touch mine! My husband is the only one allowed to touch them!

Okay this is random, but you asked. :)

I hate when people sit on pillows. Pillows are where faces go…not tails. :)

I think an aversion to feet is way better than a foot fettish. A few years ago, I was selling an almost new pair of designer shoes on ebay that I bought and never wore. I took a picture of them on my foot to include on the listing, and this “potential buyer” (pervert) kept emailing me and asking for more pictues. Ewwww!

I totally hate having things touch my nose such as a pillow, blanket, spider web, or just about anything.

I’m right there with you! I just don’t like feet! Except baby feet, they are special!

Gehehee! I’m a barefoot person too. I just really dislike wearing shoes.
Hmm… I have an aversion to grasshoppers/crickets/moths. I can be around any other bug/insect/arachnid in the whole world.
Show me one of those crazy giant yellow grasshoppers from Florida and I’ll just die inside! Auuugh…

I’m sad to admit that my kids’ sweet baby feet are now turning into stinky big kid feet. It’s so sad! I don’t have an aversion to feet, but I can’t have anyone touch mine. The first time I had a pedicure, my sister nearly died from laughter, watching me practically hyperventilate. The rise of my foot is so ridiculously ticklish it’s almost painful!

The only thing I have a real aversion to is when someone eats from my plate while I’m still eating. Isn’t that weird? I’m really not a selfish person–and I’m happy to share by putting the food on someone else’s plate. But yuck–stay off my plate. I finally had to tell my hubby after years of his fork hovering over my food. Such a weird thing to bother me.

    I love my feet!
I love shoes, too, but I don’t like to wear them.
What I don’t like is anyone touching my ankles. Ick. Not crazy about anything near my nose, either, like another commenter; funny that should be a common antipathy.

Thats really funny… I dont mind if anyone wants to touch my feet.. I hope they’ll use oil & give me a reflexology (massage) treatment while they’re at it.. haha My mom gave us reflexology treatments when we were growing up so I kinda love them. Dont think thats too kinky. ;)

So heres my creepy ewwwey thing..

I hate sitting down on a seat where someone just got up from and its still warm… ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww…….. rofl.. It totally grosses me out & the guys at work think its the funniest thing so you know they sit in my chairs on purpose to gross me out.. I have 2 leather work chairs and they take great joy in sitting on them when Im not there.. I’ll stand there for 5 minutes to let the chair cool off before I’ll sit down again.. Trust me.. grown men giggle. ;)

Jewellery! If it touches me I cringe. If I see someone putting their necklace in their mouth? *shudder*

Hair. Loose hairs on the shower, sink, floor, couch… ugh!! It makes me shudder just to think about it.

This is funny. I’m the same way. Walter has to keep his feet to himself! LOL! Isaac’s feet are still cute, but now that Isabella is five and has stinky feet, they just aren’t appealing anymore.

It took me years to accept to wear sandals… I am OK now but I am not crazy about seeing other people’s feet, to say the least!
