Taking a Day Off

September 29th, 2014

Mr Chiots and I were busy yesterday and I arrived home late, and tired. Too tired to write much, too tired to think about what to post. As usual, I’d never leave you without something.
Dexter (1)
This is Dexter taking the day off when he was grounded. He’s supposed to be back indoors by dusk, but the previous day he didn’t show up until around 11 pm. Since he missed his curfew he was grounded the next day and wasn’t allowed outside. Somehow I don’t think sleeping on the bed all day is much of a punishment.

Susy, you are too funny. Dexter probably welcomed the day sleeping inside. He’s tired from staying out late the night before. So, yeah, it most likely wasn’t much of a punishment to stay inside and sleep all day.

I suspect some heavy work days are in my future too as I begin the garden clean up process. The trees are giving up their leaves rather early this year. So we are heavy into yard clean up as well. The backyard garden really got away from me this year so many bags of yard waste will be set out for the city to take away to their big compost pile during October. I just don’t like to compost weeds and grass nearly mature grass. It’s been an unusual year and I’m kind of glad it’s coming to a close.

Have a great fall work day.

Hilarious. Does that really work? I can’t imagine my cat even noticing if I tried to discipline her.
