A Fun Class
This past Saturday a few friends and I went to a local glass studio (David Jacobson Glass) to take a glassblowing class. It was a blast! David told us that the hardest part would be picking out our colors, it truly was. I was amazed at how fast the entire process went, it was really only around 2 minutes from start to finish for each ornament.
Above are the three ornaments that I made, which I absolutely LOVE. I’m thinking I might go back to make more ornaments, they would make fabulous handmade Christmas gifts for family and friends. I’ll also keep this in the back of my mind for when we have friends from out of town visiting. It was a fun way to spend an afternoon and it’s nice to have something to display when you’re finished.
Have you done anything new and fun recently?

How fun!
Hubby and I have been trying to think of something new to try for a date day or night, this is absolutely going on the list. Something we’re both interested in, but wouldn’t have thought of trying.
The most exciting thing we’ve tried lately was back in November, we did a “paint and sip” class. We painted a replica of Van Gogh’s Starry Night.

That looks like so much fun! If you’d like to go again I’d consider doing it. They would make wonderful Christmas presents!
