Still Waiting…

December 23rd, 2015

So far this year we’ve only had a few inches of snow, that all melted weeks ago, the ground is still bare.

I can’t say that I’m eager for a rerun of last winter, we got over 12 feet of snow, but I am ready to have a blanket of the white stuff brightening up these dark days.
SNOW
There’s no snow in the forecast for at least the next week. No doubt it will come, there are many years we don’t have snow until Jan, I’m just hoping it’s a more “normal” winter, that is if there is a normal when it comes to weather.

Do you live in an area with snow? Do you have any yet?

Susy, hey, hey, hey, the weather outside is frightful but the fire is so delightful. Let it snow; let it snow; let it snow. Yes, the first real snow of the season is falling and making the scene out the front window a Currier and Ives picture. Looks like we will indeed have a white Christmas for Nebraska. It truly marks the beginning of Winter. I like all the different seasons.

Have a Merry Christmas. I’m going to pull out Stormie, my snowblower, and play in the snow later this after noon. I’m sending it your way so be watching for it. :-)

Hi Susy, no snow here in North Texas, in fact it’s a bit on the warm side currently.

I love the way the snow looks on your boxwoods (if that’s them?).

In Canada and still no snow. We spent Christmas Eve in the park, walking and enjoying the +15C weather.
