New Book
This year Mr Chiots got me a On Garden Style for Christmas. I’ve had this book on my wish list for a long time, but it’s rather pricey so I’ve never purchased it. Now that I have it, I LOVE it. If you’re looking for ways to give your garden that extra bit of something you feel it’s been lacking this book is for you.
It’s not a gardening book about plants, what to grow and where to put it. It’s a book about designing your garden space, thinking of it like indoor space. So far I’m really enjoying this book and it’s just the book I need as I start to lay out plans for this new garden space. I’m only through the first 20 pages or so, but I can tell this book is going to be an invaluable resource for me!
Did you get any great books for Christmas?

Ooh, our library has that book. Can’t wait to check it out. Our place was a nursery in recent years, with display gardens on a small farm, but it looks like some of the trees and shrubs have seen better days. We are thinking of doing some editing and restoring to get rid of the invasive plants, so I am eager to see what this book has to say.
I didn’t get a book for Christmas, rather the BBC series on Victorian kitchen gardens. Now to find a way to play it. :)
Hope you both are relaxing and enjoying your James Bond.

Susy, new garden books are always on my list. I got a new garden book for Christma as well. It’s a great reference book. It is a book that gives lots of information about plants listed plant by plant. The book gives information on how to grow each one as well as some recipes on how to use them when harvested. I really have enough stuff and don’t really want any thing more for Christmas unless it’s a seed catalog gift card or a new garden book. I looked for your New Book at our library and didn’t see it listed. They didn’t have any thing by Bunny Williams at all. I have my favorites that I read almost every Winter so it takes a really good book to be added to the list of favorites for me.
Have a great new book reading day.
