Quote of the Day: Henry Beston

January 24th, 2016

“Surely the most beautiful of all colors of winter is the blue of winter shadows on the snow! It is a blue which varies with the day and the light, but whatever its tone, is both tender and delicate, and to se it is to be reminded of the purity of certain blues in flowers.”

Susie, my favorite color is blue. I was born being partially color blind. Bold colors I can see but subtle light pastel colors all look white to me. The colors that I have the most trouble with are browns and greens. Stop light green and street light white are the same color in my eyes. Red and yellow I can see clearly but green is an issue and I must be constantly aware while driving. So I’m assuming the pictures are shades of blue snow but I can’t see it. I suppose I miss out on a lot of beauty because of the defective color rods in the eyes.

Have a great shades of blue snow day.
