Not Quite…
Well, spring is officially here….but not quite. It was beautiful yesterday, high of around 40 and sunny. We spent the day working outside, getting a few chores done.
We’re supposed to wake up this morning to snow, more than a dusting. We shall see how much we really get, thankfully it brings some nitrogen for the garden. It will also give me at least another week of time in the sewing room.
What’s the weather like in your garden?

Susy, the forecasters are saying a storm is on the way. Just how much of rain and/or snow we get has not been determined just yet. I’m with you and feel that it’s a blessing to get a March snow storm. The ground has thawed and the nitrogen rich snow will soak into the soil as it melts. It’s nature’s way to giving the plants a boost during the beginning of their life for this year. Daffodils, hyacinth, and crocus
Work continues at Terra Nova Gardens and the inner chicken wire fence around the sweet corn area is under construction. One side is complete and another has the steel posts set in place. Construction will be slowing down as the weedy areas need attention and grass mowing will be beginning in a couple weeks.
Have a great storm day.
