The Läckö Slott Castle Gardens, part 2

September 20th, 2016

The lower walled garden at Läckö Slott Castle was quite stunning. I’m a huge fan of artfully arranged potagers, I love hedges, walls, arches, and vegetables arranged in straight or curved rows. Using the texture and color of different vegetables to create an artful garden is something we should all try to do more in our edible garden spaces. Ornamental beds shouldn’t be the only places arranged with such things in mind.

Susy, those are some amazing gardens. It gives a whole new concept to row crop gardening. Not a weed in sight. Boy, wish I could keep my garden looking like that. (Big sigh) Oh, well, I guess if I had a team of gardeners, I probably could. I haven’t been able to get to Terra Nova Gardens much this last week. Rain, rain, and more rain prevented it. Give a garden a week without attention and weeds abound. It’s my lot as a gardener in a vacant wild lot. Taming Terra Nova Gardens has not been for the faint of heart.

Have a great reviewing trip pictures day.
