Friday Favorite: Fun with Family

October 26th, 2018

In case you’ve noticed, I haven’t been posting this week. That’s because my sister made the trip up to Maine with the nieces & nephew. We’ve been visiting lighthouses, seeing the sights, and eating all the good things Maine has to offer.

What fun things have you been doing this fall?

I just got back from Key West. Went to see my daughter marry for the 2nd time to a great man, and into a great family.

I did not enjoy Key West as much as I would have enjoyed other beach destinations, but it was not my decision. I love sand beaches and beach combing. In fact I love the beach they live near. They are in Manchester New Hampshire and Hampton Beach is less than an hours drive. I could walk that beach for hours.

The best things in Key West, besides the wedding of course, is the Butterfly Sanctuary and the food. I missed the botanical garden and I am not sure how I managed to do that. I love walking thru botanical gardens anywhere I go.

I barely made it back from Key West before Hurricane Michael’s arrival. I drove home thru evacuation traffic.
